stuff my bf says
Well it wasn’t until I accidently read my bf blog that I had figured out yes, I want to write agian. Maybe because I want to voice my opnion about his blog! I guess you could say I am one of those people who have to get the last word in. I’m not sure where this all started or how it happened but like most of by bad habits or interesting triats I blame it on how I was raised.
This particular blog has to do with by “secret” habit of talking back about my bf”s blog. He had wrote a blog about quitting smoking yesterday, and how it is a habit that makes him feel grounded. He explained because of what he is going through with his life it is easier to smoke because it makes him feel better. He is struggling with finding a job, keeping me happy and money situations. Now all said and done this sounds like a sound blog. I would agree with him if I wasn’t his girlfriend. LET THE MAN HAVE A CIGARETTE to deal with all his stress!!! RIGHT?????
Wrong, here is my side of the story.
1.) First of all smoking in the house? yes my wonderful lazy sexy bf smokes in the house. Now if I’m lucky I catch him and yell enough so he smokes outside. Key word YELL, so then I feel like a raging bitch because I had to bitch at him to smoke outside. But wait a second shouldn’t it be common sense to smoke outside?
2.) He leaves the cigarettes and ash everywhere. He smokes while on the toilet so what does he do when he is done? throws the cigerattes in the tub! Or in empty soda can bottles, water bottles or anything for that matter.
One day I found cigeratte butts in the candle holder! GROSS not to mention one time when taking a shower I saw a few butts on the ground. The worst is taking a sip of water and gasp swallowing ash….. Now how is this not disgusting? If you ask him, I should look before drinking and of course it’s not that big of a deal….
3.) The smell, I don’t think I need to say more we all get… except for the smoker. The smell lingers in the room or clothse. Waking up to a bedspread that smells like smoke, how can I not get moody and bitchy?
4.) The cost!!!! I put this in there because whenever I want to buy my us weekly or something stupid, I’m insane for spending that money, however, he is able to buy a pack a day for $10 and it doesn’t phase him. Meanwhile I get looks for buying my guilty pleasure mangazine which is four bucks a week!!!!
5.) Just annoying, how many times does he leave the restuarant for a smoke… leaving me sitting at the table by myself. Or, I have to wait for me to go in a building so he can finish up his cigarattee. Let me tell you it is annoying to sit in the cold and wait for my bf to finish up his cigaratee. Heaven forbid that I voice my opnion because once agian that would mean I am moody and bitching.
I could list many more but, this is a blog of course…. All and all single girls try not to fall for a smoker and if you do try to get him to quit before you live with each other. If you end up living with him be prepared to be called moody for complaining about his nasty habit. Right now I started telling him I believe in him every time he smokes. I’m not sure how this will help but it’s nicer than getting into an argument. :)
